Directed by Taiwanese filmmaker Shu Lea Cheang, “Fresh Kill” centers around a non-nuclear family anchored by mothers Claire (Erin McMurtry,) Shareen (Sarita Choudhury) and their daughter Honey (Nelini Stamp.) and a wild ride involving corporate conspiracies, pollution and community activism.

“Love Boat: Taiwan” + “Spring Bud”

“Love Boat: Taiwan” looks at the Taiwan Love Boat, where college-aged Taiwanese Americans get closer to their history, their culture and each other. This feature film is preceded by the short film “Spring Bud.” Through the power of education, this film looks at one woman’s vision to transform the lives of a thousand girls in China’s rural Shaanxi Province.
