POP Pilates with Helen Wu

Join us for a fun workout led by our very own TAP-NY member, Helen Wu!
POP Pilates is a total body, equipment-free workout that sculpts a rock solid core and a lean body, all while listening to your favorite top hits! There is no jumping around or confusing and fast-moving choreography, but there is plenty of stretching, which feels just plain good. Throughout class, you can expect to stay in the same general spot on the floor with your yoga mat (which is your personal space for the duration of the workout), working through breathing and small, Pilates-inspired muscular strength movements targeting all parts of the core, trunk, thighs, and more.
No experience is required, and there will be an easier option or challenge given for nearly all of the moves. POP Pilates can be done on bare feet with nothing but a yoga mat on the floor. There will be yoga mats available at the studio, but feel free to bring your own.
About the instructor:
Helen graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Accounting. She changed careers 4 years ago to follow her passion of making a positive impact in other people’s lives. She spends most of her time as an Orangetheory Lead Coach in Shrewsbury, NJ. Come out to meet her, sweat a little, and experience her dorky sense of humor!
